Welcome to JifyWigs™ ("we," "our," "us," or "Company"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (shopjifywigs.com.ng), mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

• Notify us immediately of unauthorized use

3.2 Account Verification

We may require email verification via OTP (One-Time Password) to activate your account. You must verify your email within the specified timeframe or your account may be suspended.

4. Purchases and Payments

4.1 Product Orders

When you place an order:

• You make an offer to purchase products at the listed price
• We reserve the right to accept or reject your order
• Order confirmation email constitutes acceptance
• All prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or US Dollars (USD)
• Prices are subject to change without notice

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept payments through:

• Paystack: For Nigerian customers (NGN payments)
• Stripe: For international customers (USD payments)

By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees and any taxes.

4.3 Stock Reservation

When you add items to your cart, we temporarily reserve stock for you. Reserved stock is released if:

• You remove items from your cart
• Your cart remains inactive for 48 hours (abandoned cart)
• Payment fails or is not completed

4.4 Pricing Errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical error, we reserve the right to:

• Cancel the order and provide full refund
• Contact you to confirm the order at the correct price
• Update pricing before processing the order

4.5 Taxes and Duties

You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes, customs duties, and import fees for international orders.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Shipping Options

We offer three shipping options:

• Local Delivery (Lagos): Courier delivery within Lagos, payment to rider on delivery
• Nationwide Delivery (Nigeria): Via partner courier companies
• International Shipping: Worldwide delivery via international carriers

5.2 Delivery Timeframes

• Local Delivery: 1-3 business days
• Nationwide: 3-7 business days
• International: 5-15 business days (varies by destination)

5.3 Risk of Loss

All items purchased are made pursuant to a shipment contract. Risk of loss and title pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. See our Shipping Policy for complete details.

6. Wig Care Services

6.1 Service Types

We offer professional wig care services including:

• Wig Washing & Conditioning
• Color Refresh & Enhancement
• Full Wig Revamping
• Lace Repair & Maintenance

6.2 Service Booking

When you book a service:

• Provide accurate wig details and condition assessment
• Confirm appointment date and time
• Payment may be required upfront or upon completion
• Cancellation policy applies (see Section 7)

6.3 Service Disclaimer

While we take utmost care, we cannot guarantee:

• Results for severely damaged wigs
• Exact color matching for color services
• Restoration of wigs beyond repair

We will assess your wig and inform you if service is not recommended before proceeding.

7. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our Return Policy for complete details. Key points:

• Return Window: 14 days from delivery date
• Condition: Unworn, unused, with original packaging and tags
• Non-Returnable: Custom-colored wigs, sale items, hygiene items
• Refund Method: Original payment method within 7-10 business days

8. User Content and Reviews

8.1 Review Submission

When you submit a review, you agree that:

• Your review is honest and based on your genuine experience
• You own the content and photos you submit
• We may moderate, approve, or reject reviews
• We may use your review in marketing materials

8.2 Review Guidelines

Reviews must not contain:

• Profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
• Personal attacks or harassment
• False or misleading information
• Links to external websites or promotional content
• Email addresses or phone numbers

8.3 Auto-Moderation

We use sentiment analysis to automatically moderate reviews:

• Auto-Approved: Highly positive reviews (4-5 stars, positive sentiment)
• Pending Review: Neutral reviews require manual approval
• Auto-Rejected: Reviews containing inappropriate content or low ratings with very negative sentiment

• Use our trademarks without permission
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

11. Disclaimers

11.1 "As Is" Basis

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that our Services will:

• Be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Meet your specific requirements
• Produce particular results
• Be compatible with all devices or browsers

11.3 Product Descriptions

While we strive for accuracy, product images and descriptions may not be perfect representations. Colors may vary due to screen settings. We do not warrant that product descriptions are accurate, complete, or error-free.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JIFYWIGS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
• DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OR ALTERATION
• DAMAGES FROM THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT OR CONTENT
• DAMAGES FROM DELIVERY DELAYS OR PRODUCT UNAVAILABILITY

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE, OR ₦50,000 (FIFTY THOUSAND NAIRA), WHICHEVER IS LESS.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JifyWigs and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of our Services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content or reviews
• Your fraudulent or illegal activities

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lagos, Nigeria.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at hello@shopjifywigs.com.ng to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 30 days.

15.2 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria. The arbitration shall take place in Lagos, Nigeria, and shall be conducted in English.

15.3 Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY. YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

16. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms on our website
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Sending email notification for significant changes

Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to reflect the parties' intention to the extent permitted by law.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Return Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and JifyWigs regarding your use of our Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
